Programs Specialist
Ms. Bénédicte Richmond is a results-driven professional with extensive
experience in strategic thinking, planning, and coordination, complemented by a
strong track record in proposal development and high-impact communication. Her
work is grounded in sound financial acumen, including budgeting, resource
allocation, and financial oversight, ensuring that strategies are both ambitious and
operationally feasible.
She excels in building and sustaining strong networks and partnerships,
leveraging relationships to advance organizational goals and mobilize resources
effectively. With a delivery-focused mindset, she harnesses technology to
streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve decision-making across
planning, coordination, and resource mobilization functions.

institutions and teams to translate vision into actionable strategies and measurable
outcomes.
Ms. Richmond’s work experience includes 15 years in the field of project
development, operational planning, program coordination and documentation, monitoring, evaluation, adaptability and learning, outreach and communications, translation and interpretation. She has served as Program Specialist at USAID and Special Assistant to the Managing Director of SIFCA Group in Cote d’Ivoire for the past four years. Prior to that, she has performed the full range of consultative; advisory, monitoring, analytical, operational and informational services at Bain and Company, the United Nations, the African Development Bank and the AccorHotels Group in South Africa.
In the past few months, she was appointed Bilingual Executive Coordinator in the campaign team of a presidential candidate running for the African Development Bank presidential elections. Most recently, she took on the role of Strategic Administrative Affairs Consultant for an agro-industrial group in Cameroon.
Ms. Richmond holds a B.A. Honours in International Politics from the University of South Africa and a B.A. in International Studies of University of Pretoria in South Africa as well as diplomas in international development. She has been certified in project management and evaluation as well interpretation and translation. She is fluent in English and French.
