Boko Alexandre KOUASSI is a Senior 360° Marketing and Communications Strategist, Digital Communications Trainer, and Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) expert with over 20 years of experience across strategic advisory, media and public relations, and leadership of communication functions in both the private sector and international development.
Over the past five years, he has developed deep specialization in public health communication, leading and coordinating national communication and community mobilization campaigns addressing priority health issues, including COVID-19, malaria, HIV, rabies, and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). His work has been implemented within the framework of U.S.–Côte d’Ivoire cooperation through programs funded by USAID and the World Bank.
Since December 2025, he has served as a Communications Expert Consultant to the Health Projects Coordination Unit (UCPS) of the World Bank, supporting the Directorate General of Universal Health Coverage (DG-UHC) in Côte d’Ivoire. In this role, he also acts as Technical Advisor on Communications to the Director General and Acting Director of the Directorate for UHC Promotion and External Relations (DPRE-UHC), where he has led the operationalization of the communications function, institutional structuring, and development of strategic communication plans.
Previously, from 2020 to 2025, he was a Communications Specialist at the Center for Communication Programs (CCP), Johns Hopkins University, under the USAID-funded Breakthrough ACTION project. He oversaw SBCC strategy design, implementation, and monitoring, managed technical partnerships, coordinated content production, and served as focal point for behavioral economics, knowledge management, and strategic innovation.
His career includes senior leadership roles and advisory work with multinational brands.
