Brigitte Karekezi Djedj is a Senior Gender Integration and Inclusive Governance Advisor, as well as an experienced trainer and panelist. She transforms policies and programs into powerful drivers of equality by combining gender analysis, transformational leadership, and results-oriented approaches. With over 20 years of experience in West and Central Africa, she has held senior strategic roles with USAID, the United Nations, the African Union, and leading local and international NGOs, designing and managing multisectoral programs in fragile and post-crisis contexts. Her work is grounded in participatory monitoring and evaluation, social accountability mechanisms, and the systematic integration of the “Do No Harm” principle into public action. Gender thematic expertise: Inclusive governance; economic empowerment; gender-based violence (GBV); digital inclusion and innovation; and citizen participation. Value proposition: Institutional strengthening and civil society capacity building, supported by robust impact-measurement frameworks to ensure sustainable, long-term outcomes. Brigitte works in French and English and operates across the sub-region.
