Dr. Raoul Roland KOUASSI

Senior academic, strategic advisor, and development practitioner

Dr. Raoul Roland KOUASSI is a senior academic, strategic advisor, and development practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in higher education, leadership development, and international cultural exchange.


He serves as Board Member, Senior Advisor, and Director for Africa at the Global Caravan for Education and Cultural Exchange, where he provides strategic oversight and supports education and intercultural programs across the African continent.


Dr. Kouassi is an Associate Professor at the University of Cocody (Abidjan), where he has taught and conducted research since 2004. His academic work focuses on linguistics (discourse analysis and phonetics) and the theory and practice of communication, with particular attention to leadership, identity construction, and social change.


An internationally recognized scholar, he served as a Fulbright Visiting Professor at the University of Michigan, contributing to academic exchange and collaborative research between African and U.S. institutions.


In addition to his academic career, Dr. Kouassi has held senior nonprofit leadership roles, including Vice President for Strategy and Planning at Mudespacobo, and has worked extensively as a consultant for leading academic and professional institutions such as HEC Abidjan, the School of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abidjan, and other higher education and training institutions.


He brings deep expertise in strategic planning, leadership development, communication, and organizational transformation.
